Bleakley Bavol Denman & Grace is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join our legal team and work onsite on our beautiful North Tampa campus The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of personal injury law and experience with requesting and reviewing medical records. This is not an entry-level position. Required Qualifications Minimum of 2-4 years as a litigation paralegal or legal assistant. Proven experience executing billable tasks and entering time accordingly. Associate's degree or paralegal certification. Responsibilities Include Conduct communications with clients, opposing counsel, and judges. Finalize and e-file court documents. Draft non-complex notices, motions, and subpoenas. Draft discovery requests and responses, including compilation of responsive records. Request, review, and process records / discovery, including medical records Perform all tasks related to scheduling of CMEs. Conduct background and online research related to facts of the case, case witnesses, statutory requirements, and procedural rules. Trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and coordinating with witnesses. Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when interacting with clients and other parties involved in cases.
