Warehouse Worker / Cover DriverLooking for a role that offers variety and the opportunity to grow your skills? In this dual-role position, you will be trained to perform both warehouse and cover driver responsibilities. Warehouse work will serve as your primary assignment, with opportunities to work as a cover driver.Your day-to-day assignment will vary based on business needs such as package volume, staffing needs, and seasonal demand. You may rotate between warehouse and driving duties throughout the year—sometimes week to week, and other times spending extended periods in one role before transitioning to the other.Warehouse Worker ResponsibilitiesTypically work 3.5 to 5 hours per day, Monday–Friday or Tuesday–SaturdayLoad and unload packages from UPS trailers and iconic brown package cars (vehicles)Sort, move, and handle packages in a fast-paced warehouse environmentReport for your assigned warehouse shift when not scheduled as a Cover DriverCover Driver (TCD) ResponsibilitiesTypically work 8 to 10 hours per day, Monday–Friday or Tuesday–SaturdaySafely operate UPS package delivery vehiclesDeliver and pick up packages while providing excellent customer serviceWork independently in a fast-paced outdoor environment and in and out of customer locationsMeet all UPS driver qualification standards and requirementsWhat you'll need:The ability to lift up to 70 lbs.Stamina – this is a workout like no other!Valid driver's license—no CDL required (License type varies by state – proof required to qualify for the position)Satisfactory driving historyPass the DOT physicalPass a UPS driver testExcellent customer contact and driving skillsCover drivers are expected to comply with UPS driver appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniformAuthorized to work in the U.S.Industry-leading Benefits:Competitive weekly payGrowth opportunities*401(k)Defined-benefit pension planMedical, dental, and vision after waiting period$0 healthcare premiumPaid vacationPaid Sick and Family and Medical Leave time as required by lawPaid holidaysDiscounted Employee Stock Purchase Program*While this position itself is classified as part-time, additional hours will be available through the cover driving position.
