Maintenance Electrician

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS), a premier provider of ordnance weapons and tactical systems to the U.S. Department of Defense and allied nations, has an opening for a Maintenance Electrician to join our Marion, IL team. Responsibilities:

• Employee will conduct maintenance electronics work in a production facility.
• Troubleshooting electronic, hydraulic and pneumatically controlled systems.
• Candidate will need to be able to work any shift assigned.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent combination of experience
• Five years experience in Industrial Electrical maintenance work and pass a written test covering specific and general requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Any HVAC experience is a plus

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with supervision and fellow employees
• Must have the ability to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and safety signs and instructions
• Must be able to perform basic math
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Pre-employment background and medical screening will be required if selected for hire.
• Must be able to work all shifts and overtime, as required

Pay Range (USD) $38.78/hour Benefits Employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, and basic life insurance as well as pre-tax spending accounts.
